Confronting Christian Corruption (Oct-Nov 2012)

False Blindness and True Darkness
If you were blind you would have no sin;
but since you say, “We see,” your sin remains.
Jesus, John 9: 41
.
This is a blurred detail of an image of the decomposing bodies of a mother and daughter outside of a church. The image is just one detail among  hundreds of thousands of details of a massive  genocide. The genocide could have happened anytime and anywhere in the history of humanity. It could have happened to any of us, including our parents and children.
.
 We keep this image in mind as we consider the ubiquitous nature of corruption in its many heinous forms. And we keep this image in mind to maintain perspective, as we join with others in confronting the NCI et al fraud.  The devastating darkness of corruption—with its complicity, cover ups, and cowardice—cannot withstand the liberating light of virtue.
 .
We cannot pretend to be blind—to rationalise away our responsibility to take the risks necessary to confront Christian corruption. The incessant pleas of the abused cry out for help, and justice:

How long? ¿Hasta cuándo? Jusqu’à quand? Wie lange? Hur länge?
.
There is plenty of light shining for people to get informed and to take action in the NCI et al fraud. It is not too late for you to help.  Listen to the pleas. Listen to your conscience. There will be breakthroughs. Maybe because of you. More updates in due course.
.
Do not participate in the unfruitful deeds of darkness.
But rather unmask them and reprove them.
Expose and confront the darkness for the sham it is.
Ephesians 5: 11
